The discussion about the Super Apps increasingly strong made by RIM in the Mobile World Congress 2010 in Barcelona, Spain, some time ago.

Super Apps is an application for BlackBerry devices more integrated with the existing capabilities of the device. This includes integration with Inbox, Calendar and other applications. Examples of this application is an application that allows Twitter tweet like Inbox sent via email, without having to open the Twitter application.

Some of the charateristics that take an app to the level of super app are as follows:

RIM will launch two new apps for IBM’s Lotus Quickr and Connections software on Monday 25th Jan 2010. The applications, are designed to enhance collaboration in the workplace.

BlackBerry’s application for IBM Lotus Quickr is designed to make accessing libraries, folders and enterprise content easier to download. The Quickr application is integrated with BlackBerry email.

Research in Motion said its client for IBM Lotus Connections allows workers to build community, share bookmarks and activities and blog from the BlackBerry.

The Lotus applications will be available immediately.

The times end for waiting of  Sprinte customer who have been waiting for the BlackBerry Curve 8530. This smart Curve finally hits Sprint and Verizon Wireless.Its well and good to compete with some of the most advanced smartphones in the world with flagship Motorola Driod starting selling these days. So that the new Curve 8530 available for their customers. We are not shore about its exact date but it is expected that it may be release on 20th of this November.
The main feature of new BlackBery Curve 8530 are :
The new BlackBerry Curvre has 320×240 LCD display, a 2 Megapixel camera and a QWERTY keyboard. Curve 8530 will come in Black, Royal Purple and Red. It is boosted by a 528MHz processor and 256MB RAM. This smart Curve support GPS/A-GPS and BlackBerry Maps. Built-in media player supports MPEG4, H.263, H.264, WMV9 and most of the audio formats. It also supports WiFi 802.11b/g as well as Bluetooth 2.1. The smartphone Curve also supports dual band CDMA2000 1X EVDO 3G network.

Now the question for its price. Who much it is expensive ? As it is not in the market so we don’t no its exact price but we are expecting that its price range is round about $99 to $100.

WordPress Beta release version 0.9.0.134 for Blackberry. WordPress previous release has some issues but in new release all issues are solved. WordPress app is in Beta phase I think this have some issues but I am sure in final release this issues are fixed and give more option users. In this release includes the following features.* XML-RPC discovery upgrade
* Fix for the category field not being focusable
* Added a paste option to the link assistant
* Added menu item to check if there is a newer version of the app
* Big improvements on how the app handles images. App can now work with jpeg and png image, without format conversion.
