Summer is in full swing, but it’s almost time to start thinking about going back to school! As you’re stocking up on pencils, notebooks and highlighters, don’t forget about your technological needs. Here are the top five tech gadgets — including the perfect ultrabook — to get you through the school year.

1.     Custom USB Drive

USB drives can make your life much easier in the midst of all your homework, study, and research. They safely store your data while you’re on-the-go, from class to the library and back again. Why not show a little personality with a custom USB drive? Design your own logo or select a slogan that represents your individuality. Don’t forget to pick your favorite color. If you’re a teacher’s assistant for a course, pick up a set of customized USB drives for your entire class!

2.     Lenovo Ultrabook

The Lenovo ultrabook is perfect for student: lightweight, portable, and affordable — what more could you want? You can choose from a number of ultrabook models, including the ThinkPads and IdeaPads, with different display sizes, storage capability and features. No matter which device you choose, trust that Lenovo delivers products that are impeccably designed for optimum performance.

3.     iPod

Make your commute between classes a little livelier with an iPod. Load your playlists and hit the shuffle key as you go from one class to the next. Or, download some classical music to stimulate your brain when it’s time to write that big paper. Choose from the classic iPod, iPod touch, iPod nano or iPod shuffle.  You can even load a few movies or TV shows onto your iPod to play anywhere, at any time.

4.     Noise-canceling Headphones

Is the background noise from the student center or your living room interrupting your concentration? Having a hard time during those all-nighters in the library? Don’t fret. Block out sounds from the rest of the world with a premium pair of noise-canceling headphones.  Depending on your preference, you can select a pair with an in-ear fit, around-ear fit, or on-ear fit, and enjoy plenty of quiet bliss.

5.     Roku

At some point, you’ll need to take a break between classes to catch up on the latest entertainment. Give your brain some rest and watch your favorite TV shows via the Roku streaming device.  Or, if you’re a multi-tasker, play the latest episode while you answer homework questions or draft an essay. Roku offers a deluxe selection of channels and programming — including PBS, HBO Go and MLB.TV — and a user-friendly interface for your ultimate viewing pleasure.
